Part of Wintertime. Discover our season here.
Join us for this festive ghostly treat!
This special event comprises screenings of two of the classic BBC/BFI Ghost Stories for Christmas films Whistle and I’ll Come to You (1968) and A Warning to the Curious (1972), followed by a panel discussion hosted by Adam Z. Robinson (writer and performer, The Book of Darkness & Light) and including Mike Muncer (The Evolution of Horror podcast) and Brontë Schiltz (writer, academic and TV ghost expert).
The post-screening discussion will explore the enduring appeal of Christmas ghost stories, their place in folklore, and the centenary legacy of M.R. James’s haunting collection A Warning to the Curious (1925) as well as taking questions from you, our audience.
Don’t miss this spooky treat this Christmas!
